Full-Time Position
Hancock Chimney & Home Services is hiring a Field Support Technician to assist with chimney, construction, and heat pump installation and service work.
No prior chimney or HVAC experience required — we provide structured, hands-on training. We’re looking for someone dependable, physically capable, coachable, and motivated to build long-term trade skills.
Responsibilities
• Assist Lead Technicians with chimney repair, installation, and maintenance.
• Support heat pump installation and mechanical service work.
• Work on roofs, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and mechanical rooms.
• Carry tools and materials safely and efficiently.
• Set up and break down ladders and jobsite protection.
• Maintain clean and organized worksites.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Interact professionally inside customers’ homes.
Technology & Documentation
• Use mobile field service software. (Housecall Pro)
• Upload job photos and document work performed.
• Log notes and task updates accurately.
• Communicate with office staff through mobile app.
• Basic smartphone and technology comfort required.
Requirements
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to take direction and apply feedback.
• Professional attitude and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
• $21–$24 per hour (based on experience and readiness)
• Monthly performance bonus opportunity.($300–$800)
